Children say Vote for us; through Vote for Kids Campaign

We the kids dream of a better nation and are striving towards a change. We dream of a better society with a lovely school for all of us which imparts quality education. We want to get such education which is interesting and enjoyable and that which produces educated people who are good and honest. We want to have creativity classes in which we get vocational training. We dream of an education system which is value based and interactive. We want good and quality education for all. We want the eradication of money and marks oriented ness from the system.
We want quality education for all. We are looking forward to bring a change.
Are you all ready? If yes, then you can help us in many ways- But the first help you can lend us is: Vote for us, we want to make this world a better place to live in.
Our existing system is dilapidated to the core of it. The present system has various loopholes and drawbacks. Why has all this happened? It is because of certain reasons. We have not ensured quality education for all. More than half of the children are deprived of schools and those who have access to schools pass out as mere literates. We are getting literate people with big heads but small hearts. In other words, our system is not value based and practical. The emphasis is given only to bookish knowledge which is prosaic and seems uninteresting to students. There are no creativity classes that provide vocational training. The present system is money and marks oriented. Are you still satisfied with this system? If yes, then you may vote for it.

It is a gospel truth that "education is the chief defence of every nation"
there are many Acts passed by the legislature but it is the lacoona of our state that it always remained safe in papers and never saw the day light of reality. It is a shame for us that children are suffering for something that belongs to them only. They are asking for nothing but just the quality education.
It is the need if the society to provide proper education to younger generation to see a better tommorow.

It is a request from top guns of the society to support this movement AND...."VOTE FOR KIDS"
STUDENTS ARE THE PART OF IT.. A MOVEMENT FOR THE STUDENTA BY THE STUDENT........!!!!!

The 'Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan' (Hindi: The 'Education for All' Movement, sometimes referred to as "each one teach one") is a flagship programme of the Government of India for achievement of universalization of elementary education in a time bound manner, as mandated by the 86th amendment to the Constitution of India making free and compulsory education to children of ages 6-14 (estimated to be 205 million in number in 2001) a fundamental right. The programme aims to achieve the goal of universalization of elementary education of satisfactory quality by 2010.

The programme seeks to open new schools in those habitations which do not have schooling facilities and strengthen existing school infrastructure through provision of additional class rooms, toilets, drinking water, maintenance grant and school improvement grants. Existing schools with inadequate teacher strength are provided with additional teachers, while the capacity of existing teachers is being strengthened by extensive training, grants for developing teaching-learning materials and strengthening of the academic support structure at a cluster, block and district level. SSA seeks to provide quality elementary education including life skills. SSA has a special focus on girl's education and children with special needs. SSA also seeks to provide computer education to bridge the digital divide.

Recognising good performance, outlay for SSA has been increased from Rs 7156 crore in 2005-06 to Rs 10004 crore in 2006-07. Target is to construct 500,000 additional class rooms and to appoint 1,50,000 more teachers. During 2006-07, it has been decided to transfer Rs 8746 crore to the Prarambhik Siksha Kosh from the revenues raised through the education cess

Constitutional, legal and national statements for universalization of elementary education

1. Constitutional mandate, 1950 - "The State shall endeavour to provide, within a period of ten years from the commencement of this Constitution, for free and compulsory education to all children until they complete the age of 14 years."
2. National Policy of Education, 1986 - "It shall be ensured that free and compulsory education of satisfactory quality is provided to all children up to 14 years of age before we enter the twenty first century".
3. Unnikrishnan Judgement, 1993 - "Every child/citizen of this country has a right to free education until he completes the age of fourteen years."
THERE ARE MANY OTHER PROGRAMS AND POLICIES AS SUCH BUT WE NEET TO FIND AND ASK IS IT REALLY WHAT IS THE NEED.... ARE THESE PROGRAMES AND POLICIES PROCEEDIND IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION..?
WHAT WOULD BE THE FATE OF THE NEXT JENERATION.....
WE NEED TO CONCENTRATE ON ONE THING WHAT IS THE NEED....IS IT A JUST EDUCATION OR A QUALITY EDUCATION..!!!!

It's aptly prophesied that "If you want the change, Be the change!" Since time memorial we have been asking for changes. But the time has changed and so our need & wants. So it's time to stand for owns rights because mere asking won't do it.Therefore Vote 4 kids! is an excellent campaign brought up by Oxygeneirs. It awakes the common mass towards the interests and needs of children and conveys the voice of children to the system.

Present education system lacks practicality. It has no life in it. students are not knowing for which pupose are they working so hard. for example ,it teaches the advantage and disadvantage of plastics. but no student takes an oath not to use plastic. till this moment plastics are been used which is surely going to spoil the future. sameway, children mug up or learn their lessons. but never aware of what they learn. practical labs have to insisted in every school so that students can atleast have an idea of the purpose of learning. Accept my vote

i really feel, of late, the marks oriented education system must be demolished at earliest.my vote for you, but , does that vote ensures it?
everyone knows it should be done but nobody bothers taking a concrete step rather going along with education system.
