Child Rights

Every individual is born with some basic, inalienable rights that he/she shll not be deprived of. The UN convention on rights of child declared everyone below the age of 18 as a child.Like adults children too have some rights that are usually neglected by we adults who think that a child has got no right and should do as directed by parents or society. It’s pathetic that millions of children are exploited or harassed thinking them to be voiceless and a commodity of use. Most children are unaware of their rights which makes them susceptible to abuse and exploitation.
The major child rights include-
(1)Right to survival- life, health, nutrition, name & nationality.(2)Right to protection-against neglect, exploitation & abuse.(3)Right to participation- ie. right to expression, information, thought & religion.(4)Right to development- that includes right to education, care, lisure and gowth. Let us all create awareness about child rights among both youth & adults for a happier childhood.

rights ...something that has been always thought be always the pie for adults is no more confined only to them. rights and duties go hand - in - hand.children need to be told about yheir rights so that they do not fall prey to any mishappening.

Children are pure and innocent, rightly said. They easily fall prey to the wanton acts of some people, which is what happening in this world; the most perfect example being child labour. In the abscence of knowledge of one's right, the present condition has exacerbated.Hence, in my opinion it should be our onus to spread cognisance among children about their rights so that their future is not jeopardised.

Children are innocent and gullible. They easily fall prey to evil designs of some people who try to exploit them. They are forced into beggary as their innocence and vulnerability it is believed moves people and fetches money in form of alms. In order to get more sympathy and in turn more money they are maimed and blinded and suffer untold cruelty. Voluntary Agencies has a big role in arranging for their education. Education alone will lead to their empowerment as apart from other things it will make them realize their rights and prepare them to fight for it.

CHILDREN ARE THE GOD'S GIFT SEND ON EARTH TO DESTROY ALL THE EVILS AND TO SPREAD THE MESSAGE OF LOVE,AND HAPPINESS.BUT TODAY CHILDREN EASILY FALL IN THE PREY OF EVIL OR BAD WORKS .A CHILDREN WHEN GROWS UP WATCHES AND LEARNS EVERY ACTION OF HAPPENING AROUND HIM.TRIES TO INCULCATE.A POOR CHILD CURSES HIS LUCK FOR BORNING IN A POOR FAMILY AND DUE TO SUFFOCATION(POVERTY,DISRESPECT)HOLDS THE GUN OR SHAKE HANDS WITH EVIL WORKS.AT THE TIME OF EDUCATION HE DOES THE CRIME AND HOLDS A EMPTY BOWL FOR BEGGING TOO..SO,IT IS OUR RESPONSBILITY TOTRAIN THOSE HANDS IN GOOD WORKS OR MAKE RHE LIFE OF THE POOR BY PROVIDING EDUCATION.SOLETS EDUCATE AND WATCH OUR DREAM INDIA COME TRUE.I VOTED FOR AHISH KRISHNA
